About the Set.

This set is inspired by lavender jade.

Nothwithstanding this, the position of the Kavitzin within the expanding Tolmir empire was hazardous; they were very much a minority group. They would have been without much legal status except that they held about a quarter of the empire's wealth.

Where the Kavitzin originate is an ongoing mystery that is not likely to be solved. The best source for clues regarding this group can be found in the Dautmir Text. The impression this text gives is one of a systematic and comprehensive destruction of the Kavitzin homeland. The homeland most likely lay in the westward reaches beyond the Sundale.

The Dautmir Text suggests total destruction of the Kavitzin homeland. But we know this could not have been true because the royal court survived along with a great wealth and a sufficient fighting force to take back the midlands. It obviously was not a great enough force to take back the homeland, but it was enough to establish a toe-hold in the Tolmir Empire.

We know from the writings of Tasmis Utar, the senior historian of a royal house of the Tolmir Empire that the Kavitzins not only undermined the economic security of the empire but the War Lord, Haliyan was married to a Kavitzin princess, Tevinya.

It is still unclear how Tevinya managed the assasination of the High King, but the common theory is that she was his mistress.

From the Lost Books, vol. 6, "The Supremacy of the Kavitzin", written by the Royal Steward, Dalmar Quidsa, III.
